This Murphy Door Do it Yourself kit includes everything you need to build your own Murphy Door. This very easy do it yourself kit includes (2) 2' Shelves that are assembled using our camlock system, TOOLS Required are Hammer, Screw Gun, or Drill, Hack Saw for the Steel Rails, Preferably a finish nailer for the molding around the shelves, a level, a razor knife. This shelving system is very easy to install. If you have ever assemble a do it yourself set of shelves you are already a pro. To mount the unique opening book shelf simply mount the oak floor rail on the floor, set the hing pin that is at the base of the shelf in the brass bushing, plumb the shelf then set the upper hinge pin in the valance bushing, then level and plumb the shelving and mount the valance onto the wall, that is it!
